Other Jobs You've Held: I've had a number of jobs over the years, but the ones worth mentioning include Peace Corp volunteer in Malaysia, various positions at the United Nations and USAID in Ethiopia, Somalia and Thailand, and as a communications counselor at The Sawyer/Miller Group in New York City

Education: BS degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Arizona, MPA from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government

Hobbies: Used to be golf, but with scores skyrocketing have taken up flying lessons; photography and gardening (showing my age)

Food: Cuban, of course, Tapas, Italian

Books: Lately reading books by Harold Bloom, Bart Ehrman, Jon Krakauer and Garry Wills
